No they didn't. The thread just doesn't show in the mainpage of the english forum area, unless you use the "Näytä aktiiviset aiheet 1000 päivän ajalta" option.

NOW there's something better.. but that thing I meant was about that "info" page up there (on main page and so on..) that there should be some kind of big (easily seen) banner with title like "INFO about Mikseri.net in English"

Last time I checked, this site was primarily for Finnish users.. I don't mean to be rude, but I don't exactly crave for more foreign users here.

If joining and using the site would be easy for foreigners, it would only need a couple of news-site posts/blog entries/irc rumours and we'd be flooded with people from all around the world. Mikseri.net just isn't ready for international use because all of its content is in Finnish and there's not enough resources.

Just imagine a mp3.com.. I mean mikseri.net with TONS of annoying flash advertisements which cover the site for a good 15 seconds every time you load a site and all those *.it and *.pl guys going "CIAO TUTTI OP PLZ".. eeeergh.

I think the situation is good as it is, the english forum is enough.

I think we have enough english speaking spammers at the moment. No need to give them any additional help for registration.
