Blog entry 12.3.2007

Hey y'all!

Guys, it's spring here in Finland already! Well not quite, but at least it's not snowing. Much... And at this particular moment. So as far as southern Finland in concerned, this is a definite sign of spring (or X-mas) and soon it'll be summer and festival season. Can't wait!!

Last week was almost as busy for us as the one before, especially for Tonmi, the busiest bee in town, who recorded and mixed the first of those two songs for the new demo and had a lot of other stuff on his hands too
with other bands and projects, such as his first gig with Ajattara, Pasi Koskinen's (ex-Amorphis) excellent black metal band.

But now the first song is almost ready, J's growls will be recorded today and then the final mix can be made. Tonmi, once again, had some great new ideas for vocal and cello melodies among other things, and I'm very happy with the compositions on this track. The song already sounds great even though it's not even finished. It's a ballad that originated from Mikko's creative 90's-oriented mind, and following that tradition will definitely wet at least an eye corner or two (or panties, legions of). We'll let you hear at least a clip when it's ready!

We're not sure about the other demo song yet, if we get enough attention from the now 3 record companies that have expressed interest in us with this one song, we'll concentrate on the actual album instead of another
demo.

And oh, this is my last week of school, and I really should concentrate on 3D graphics instead of babbling, so bye for now!
