Historia: Treatment is a Finnish Thrash Metal band formed in november 2005 under the name HarroW by Vesa Puunuvaara (Drums) and Lassi Lintula (Guitar). Their music wasn´t yet thrash, more like heavy metal. In May 2006, Juha Kemppainen (Vocals) and Juha-Pekka Mikkola (Guitar) joined the band and they decided to change the band´s name to NorthWind. They began to look for a bass player. But, only couple of months later, Juha-Pekka left the band, so they began to look for a new guitarist and still needed a bassist. In November 2006, NorthWid was finally complete, when Joona Riipi (Guitar) and Tony Tenoluoto (Bass) joined the band. Same time band became heavier and got more thrash metal influence. In February 2007, first song "Without You" was ready, followed by "When death takes it´s part", "Confusing Times" and many more. In December 2007, first demo "NorthWind", containing five songs, was ready. January 2008, they noticed that, NorthWind already existed, so they had to change their name. Weeks later they finally came up with a good and easy name to remember: TreaTmenT. Rest of that year went training and making new songs. In January 2009, they finally started to record a new demo, which had 3 new songs and 2 songs from previous demo, this time re-recorded better. Lassi, Juha and Vesa went to army in 2009, so rest of the year band was on a little "break", but still trained everytime they could. In 2010 band was back in action and started to record new demo, "Life As We Know It". Same year demo was out and had five songs in it. Music went heavier and more thrash metal. 2011, Treatment went back to studio to record another demo: "Schizophrenic". Music was again more and more thrash metal with a bit of progressive elements. Demo was almost 20 minutes long, although it had only 3 songs. 2012, same thing happened, back to studio and new demo out! This time "Verdict" -demo saw daylight. Band made it´s very first ballad "Last Day", which was supposed to be on a 2009 demo. Finally, they were satisfied and recorded it in "Verdict". 2013 Treatment went back to studio to record their next piece, a 9-song album. The album is due 2013-2014! Get Ready!!! On November 9th, TreaTmenT made a hardest decision in their history! Guitarist and co-founder Lassi Lintula is no longer a member of TreaTmenT!!! But he will not be forgotten! We thank Lassi from these 8 amazing hard-rocking years!!! Keep on Rocking my friend! On August 31st 2014, Jani Nurmela left the band due to lack of time. Band decided to continue as a quartet.
