The Last Eight Minutes
Silence falls over the land
No sound is heard, not even the wind
The news had been heard over the land
The last eight minutes had begun
Just a few minutes ago the sun died away
It burst in flames and then disappeared forever
I can still feel the last rays on my skin
They linger, linger to torture
The sun has died
Everything will die
I raise my hands in joy
Finally the sun has died
Finally my dreams came true
No light, no life
Mother Earth is dying
Gaia is dying
Dying, dying away
Just a gray barren rock will remain
Floating in outer space
Death comes to me
Her black cloak dances in the wind
She embraced me tenderly
Her loving arms stretch across the world
Hand in hand we walk
With death to eternity
And Mother Earth fallows
Now everything is cold
All life has left the earth
Soon everything will die
The last eight minutes are so beautiful
I cherish these last minutes
This is moment of death
Now everything will die
The last eight minutes were so beautiful
They were so fucking beautiful
Now the time is up
All the sand has fallen
All the rays have passed
The last eight minutes are gone
