Forgotten Reign

Dethroned ruler
Of forgotten reign
Can nothing but dream
Of his past glory

A new dawn did come
And what once was is no more
The days of glory
Now just dusk of the past

What once was
Now buried in the past
Forgotten, not forgiven
The crimes they committed

Kingdom built with lies
And paved with false promises
Was doomed to fall from the beginning
And be buried in tears

Alas this was no earthly reign
It’s structures did not held
Crumbling down it came
The kingdom of heaven
