Historia: Hammerhed started to take form in the late 90's / early 2000. Originally it was just handfull of riffs that band's guitar wiz Hirvanen had put together. After several years and members coming and going, the band finally turned out to be what it is today. After serious songwriting and training, a new album is seeing daylight soon. Hailing from Hellsinki, today's Hammerhed is hard core metal group at purest. Hammerhed is tight group of four friends. We mean business. We love Pantera. We love 80's thrash and heavy metal groups. We enjoy hard core and punk, cathcy riffs and solid songwriting. We don't give a flying fuck about classification. We don't really pay attention on being modern, proggressive or new school / old school / playschool. This is the shit we know and what we can do. One scene, no more, no less. Excpect no sircus tricks, 12 minute songs or cool EMO-singalongs. This is our street metal aggression.
