Historia: The birth of the beast called Furia began in the cold winter of 1995. Ben started looking for suitable members , but didn`t succeed until he found J.Vainaja on guitar in the summer 1996. (Before Vainaja there was also a poor drummer called Olli for a couple of months). Nothing special happened during the of `95 and the first half of `96. In the winter `96 Balaam joined the band as a vocalist and the real rehearsing began. Until that day the beast had no name. The band started to call itself Nefas, prospective to godly justice. With this line-up Nefas made two rehearsal demos, which are no longer available. At this point the band decided to change the name Nefas, because there was a band with that name in Ireland. The beast took name Furia, evil spirit. The first official release was a self-financed mini-Cd "Thy Second Month of Winter". It was released in the Autumn `97. A year later Vainaja left Furia bacause of personal reasons. He might be back with Furia later, that remains to be seem. Couple of weeks later Vainaja was replaced by another excellent guitarist Mr.Ascrag. Nowadays Furia is rehearsing new songs like hell. Furia is still looking for a good and fair record-deal. 01.01.1999
