Diversion End is the brainchild of Ville "Simi" Similä and Jukka "Liffe" Lindfors that started to take shape back in 2007. After having composed a bunch of decent tunes the next obvious step was to record them. Since there weren't any suitable drummers or singers on the horizon, a decision was made to record the instruments and vocals for the debut release by themselves. The bass' and guitars came quite easy - Liffe being a guitarrist - but the drums and vocals turned out to be the biggest challenge. Eventually Simi decided to learn how to play drums and to scream, yell, growl, howl and sing to get the job done. The end result goes by the name "Embryonic"
