...Huomasin että tulin pyörittäneeksi levy-yhtiötä reilut 10 vuotta, 1999 aikoihin kun napster kaatui vaihdoin appleen enkä sen lisäksi ole vuosina 2002-2017 paljoakaan muusikin parissa touhunnut lukuun ottamatta mitä 2008 hommattiin Oulussa JL4D:n kanssa.

Omia kappaleita ei ole kertynyt kun noin 15 ellei kyseessä ole joku kesken eräinen tai erikoisempi studio versio. jotka kaikki löytyy joko spotifystä tai youtubesta.

Armeija aikojen jälkeen 2002 aloin suunnittelemaan itselle media-alan yritystä jonka sain pystyyn 2024-2025 vuoden vaihteessa jossa on painotuote ja media palvelut aikalailla kaikki.

Brainwax levymerkin jonka parissa puuhaan nykyäänn joka toimii NO TRU MUSIC:in alla sen lisäksi että teen festivaslijärjestelyä ja pientä klubi toimintaa, muiden mediapalveluiden ohessa.

Brainwax kustantaa lähinnä electro - house - psy genreä mutta pää organisaation alla voi julkaista klassista ja myös rokimpaa sekä ylläpitää jonkinlaista podcast ja radio toimintaa vanhemmille ja nuorille.

I noticed that I had been running a record label for over 10 years, around 1999 when Napster crashed I switched to Apple and besides that I haven't done much with music in 2002-2017 except for what I got in 2008 in Oulu with JL4D. I haven't accumulated more than about 15 of my own songs unless it's an unfinished or special studio version. All of which can be found either on Spotify or YouTube. After the army days in 2002 I started planning a media company for myself which I set up around the turn of 2024-2025 with print products and media services pretty much everything. ..... Brainwax is the record label I'm currently working on, which operates under NO TRU MUSIC, in addition to organizing festivals and doing small club activities, along with other media services. Brainwax mainly publishes electro - house - psy genres, but under the main organization they can publish classical and also rock music, and maintain some kind of podcast and radio activity for parents and young people. - Oula

The Random Society [10 Years]

Past 5 year of The Random Society Recordings have not been anything new pretty much. The label have been pushing out drum & bass to raw previews to masters.

As the blog text about the first 5 Years of the Random Society label tells about some cornertones of the label history the last five years of the running the label have been intense study of generic side of allthough everything what comes to the Drum & Bass.

New artists joined in, as the anologue and digital mastering and the hardware alongside the digital producing came along more. Visual and audiovisual part and new singers, rappers, engineering for example Non Sense Music, Evervynigt, Black Sun Empire, Melting Pot, Voltage Voodoo, Dxpe-Bastard, Wocal, Crime 1 Minister, Toxic Sickness, Bad Taste, Lizzy, Sanna Heartfield, Nina Simone, Katsy AM became apart and as the distribution and contracts and contacts.

There have been not so much going on on the Lame Suckers Radio, TRS-Audio and United Sounds of Drum & Bass but TRS-Black Market ja TRS-Records have released some stuff besides Neurofunk except the couple tracks 2021-2022.

The Random Society Recordings and The Random Society webpages and about 24h of music is litenable primarily on youtube The Random Society and The Random Society Recordings Youtube as podcasts. Alternative Joulu Radio ::2025:: Couple of albums on spotify mostly melodic around H and minor ends. Some darker material in Doing This podcast and Born Free special album. 1999-2019 Remixes and normal collection of the old breakbeats and halfsteps and the uplifting End of the World album and melodies between the dark and uplifting on the Hearts Resize 1 & 2 + few other releases as tracks, podcasts and albums.

The Random Society was a Bigbeat-Breakbeat-Electro project by Finnish producer Oulamon. Production in Kemijärvi started in the 93s, when computers became basic household appliances. They also built tunes and melodies on older devices, such as Sharp and Commodore 64, with my three older cousins. The first PC-based programs that were used in this way were Protools and Fast Tracker 1, 2 and 2.1. In 96 he started playing electric guitar and played in a band with his friends. After the Suomi-Hip-Hop album was born, Oulamon founded his own solo hip-hop and rap project "Sanansaattaja" in 1997 and released a few dozen songs with it in Kemijärvi in ??early 1999. In 2000, his friend showed him a program called Fruityloops 2. Since then he has become more interested in the production side. He also produced some Drum & Bass records, such as the first releases of The Random Society in Finland in 1999. He studied audiovisual communication in Tornio from 1999 to 2001 and decided to pursue it full-time at that time.

He moved back to his hometown and met Teppo Vertomaa (DUSTHEAD), who was also a producer (TRANCE). At the suggestion of a friend, they tried to make a collaboration project called 336 Productions. The project started with the skate team 336, which he was in. In 2003, he moved to Kuusamo and did part-time jobs at a local media workshop and other workshops to finance his necessary equipment and pay his rent. That same year, he met the Finnish rapper Hypnoosi. They made Finnish hip-hop songs together. Around the same time, he heard that his cousin Joni Paloniemi (JPEACE), who also lives in Kuusamo, was also into rapping, but in English, and they also collaborated. In 2004, he met his then girlfriend, whose sister was training to be a cello teacher. His girlfriend was also very interested in music at the time and played the piano and taught him how to play the piano. In 2004, Teppo Vertomaa followed him to Kuusamo to study audiovisual communication and became his roommate. Together, they released a bunch of electronic music between 2003 and 2007, including trance, psybient and other experimental genres.In 2006, he and Teppo got an invitation to play a beach party in Kemi (FINLAND), but Teppo didn't want to play there, and they decided to do a collaboration set with JPEACE for it. After the boom of the first gig ended, he decided to follow his dream and move to Oulu. He started producing more electro than hip hop, as EDM was taking over the hip hop industry. He worked for a while at a local Bong-Store with his friend and boss. His boss also had a record label called Luomu Records, which was a very well-known UG rap and reggae label at the time, and he started to like his songs, and soon after they signed him to a record deal. In 2008, Thrive Recordings tried to get him signed by major music labels, but he didn't sign due to lack of material.He moved back to Kemijärvi in ??2008–2009 and began to hone his production skills. In 2012 he founded his own record label, The Random Society Recordings, and is now learning to produce drum and bass. A little later he made his first international releases and got a deal with electronic music label Speedsound. Random Society started to take shape as a drum and bass brand in 2013–2014, and in 2016 he founded the drum and bass band Lame Suckers, inviting drum and bass producers and DJs to join him and ask them to do podcasts for the Lame Suckers Radio show. Lame Suckers quickly grew into a record label and brand with over 3000 followers on Soundcloud and released music under various deals with The Random Society, 4LB, Wocal, Zardonic and Angerfist. He has also recently signed a deal with Geomagnetic Label Group. The label has released Drum & Bass artists such as Nickbee & Ruin, as well as other artists such as Shpongle, Astrix, SUN Project and LSD, and The Random Society Recordings is now celebrating its fifth anniversary. -OULAMON
