Snow river, snow river….
On your side of river the snow is white
on your side of river the stars are bright
Everyone is happy, things are alright
in the future there is always light
On your side of river you dance on the street
you have a blast with all the people you meet
On my side of river the snow is gray
there’s no difference between night and day
everyday is dark, things are falling apart
life is a fight and you fight bloody hard
on my side of river, summer is fall
fall is winter, and winter will call
Everything dies, no surprise
I live in darkness in the middle of ice
I can’t get across this goddammned river
so I eat alone my christmas dinner
In the midle of the river the ice is thin
you can try to get across but you will fall in
there used to be a ferry running everyday
but the cable broke and it drifted away
here was a bridge, built very strong
but granny blew it up and now it¨s all gone
Everything dies…

underneath the mistletoe it’s only me

BullHill mja 22.12.2021 Hyvin laulettua bluesrokkia. Soittokin rullaa hyvällä groovella. Tarina on surullinen, mutta toivotaan valkoisen lumen vielä pyryttävän iloa molemmin puolen jokea. Kelpo miksaus ja masterointi … biisi soi maukkailla soundeilla. |
