Kappaleen sanat

She looks out of her window
A police car parked next door
They're bringing that jerk of a neighbour home again

He sees her in the window
Judging him with a sour look on her face
Can't that girl leave others' business alone?

So ridiculous that boy
Treating his life like a toy
Still it's hard to hide her smile

A slow evening at the cafe
The first customers of her shift
A noisy voice, and guess who she sees

The whole gang wants some coffee
He's sent to make the order for them
But she's not the friendliest waitress he's seen

They're eyes meet as he pays the bill
He'd be afraid if a look could kill
But he can't help it, she looks kinda cute

In the night he can't sleep one bit
Her mind won't stop thinking 'bout it

Walking home from the school again
Trying to stay hidden behind the trees
I hope he hasn't seen me yet

Strolling casually in the park
Watching her footsteps in the woods
She doesn't know about me, I bet

She used to think that boy's no good
But know she's clearly understood
Behind that face there's some kind of charm

He sees her at their home street
Without a word she starts to laugh
Hand in her hand he walks her home
