Look in through the looking glass
The face of the demon - It is yours
The world is falling apart
And the sense of tranquillity
is like never before
But it is merely a calmness
followed by a storm
Like predators before their preys
Awaiting

Arisen soul
Wandering like a benighted ghoul
Bedraggled and corroded
Straying from the path

To covet, to lust
The darkness into your life
A sombering dawn (as a beginning)
To all-knowing evil
and the bane of the light

The howling of the greyhounds
freezes my spine
I run and kill with the pack
in favour of thine
The never-ending mist
surrounding my eyes
Unable to see
The Stairs Up to The Skies

These desolated vistas I see
Nothing but terrible black fires
Reigning in my mind, am I not free?
Still I can not feel
the presence of the heavenly choirs
Is what I see, merely a reflection of me?

A cry in the distance
ceased my strolling
Merely a silhouette (I see),
but I didn't care

Even death,
I would welcome!

It came to pass
my saviour was here
Like spattered glass
It gathered my tears
Now I am whole
It carried me through
The barrier of souls
and the silence that grew
long
