The amputation police

the amputation police is a secret sect of policemen working in secrecy at helsinki-vantaa airport in the near future. the squeaking produced by their training shoes against linoleum floor is nerve-breaking as they at a given moment start to pursue boarding passengers, silently and calmly severing off all limbs available in the passengers’ bodies. it goes like this: they attach a roundish device to major joints which removes the limb from the torso nice and easy, with a smooth click and with no haemorrhage and just a teeny-weeny pinch and light numbness first in the limb, and then around it. the device also disinfects the wound and closes it nicely so the patient doesn’t bleed to death. then the policemen disappear faster than they came and torsoes are collected and stored for rehabilitation guidance. this was told to us by a good friend mr. kowalski who knew the legendary reporter “salakuva shortfist” and his lethal effort and preparing for having a one-shot picture of this enigmatick race of policemen, which according to him, are specially bred and prepared to possess the ability of being everywhere they want to be at the same time. if this is true, the only way to stay intact is to keep being uninteresting to them. we thought we should pass on this information, after all we are all brothers and sisters.
