Their second album is also their weakest in my opinion. Even though it includes a few tracks I really like, such as Stick To Your Guns and a very nice cover of Paint It Black, I think that ever-elusive "something" is missing.

Somehow Voice Of America has always struck me as being the most Stray Cats-y album of The Quakes, and that in a bad sense... just like Stray Cats who've, with the exception of the debut, always bored me in spite of okayish musicianship, Voice Of America just bores me.

Don't think I dislike this album, though, 'cause I don't. It just pales in comparison to the bands' other albums.
