Historia: Teemu and Joonas have been playing together since the year 2004. In 2007, they wanted to start playing something a bit (okay, a lot) heavier than they had before, and so they decided to start off a new project. Since Juuso had just started to show some great talent with his guitar playing (even though he..d only been playing for a few months), they asked him to join the band. And so they started rehearsing as a trio, but not for long, for their friend Aarni soon joined them to be the singer of the band. In the late spring 2008, Mikko, with whom Teemu and Joonas had played a lot in the past, was asked to join the band to play rhythm guitar. From there on time passed just like we all know it does. The group rehearsed their songs, mostly written by Juuso, some by Mikko and some by Joonas. January 2009 Teemu was called to serve his homeland in the mandatory military service, which made rehearsing a bit difficult, as it turns out nobody wants to hear this kind of music played without a drum player. But luckily Teemu only had to serve 6 months, so the band could keep on playing again in the summer 2009. Sadly, as Teemu got out of the army, Mikko..s service began, and he still remains stuck in the military service. When Mikko..s service began, Niklas was asked to replace him. In the fall 2009, Aarni was kicked out of the band, wich led to the sad event of everyone else still in the band trying their best to be the cool lead singer. In January 2010, the band recorded a few songs at Joonas and Juuso..s backwoods home in Salmia. With no recording experience whatsoever, everybody was very pleased with how the songs turned out. Juuso was chosen to be the lead singer on the demo, since his voice sounded the best on tape. Also since Juuso had written all the lyrics, he knew how to sing them better than anyone. Juuso also played all the guitars on the records, except for Niklas..s solo on The Cheap Thrill of Our Impending Doom. Now the two songs are here on mikseri, listen to them, bet you..ll hate them!
