History: The roots go back to 1996 when two young musicians love for Finnish metal music gave birth to band. Originally Tuonenpolku was quite a different kind of animal. The band recorded their first songs the same year. People from close circuit came to support band in the form of fans or sessions musicians. Four years after the beginning the band released their second demo EP. Back in those days the releases suffered (or benefitted) from homemade sounds which were criticized in the interviews and reviews. Tuonenpolku started to work with their next project in 2003. Mr. A.T and Mr A.M worked on it for some time but due the duties to country and education they were forced to put their work to rest. Couple of tracks were recorded for this epic that was never released. In the past few years the band played with the idea to produce stuff with a completely new kind of atmosphere and sounds. In 2007 that idea came to reality when Mr. A.M and Mr. A.T began writing new material with even rawer and more primitive drive. Tuonenpolku went to studio Fennia to record Kärsijä EP which will be released the fall of 2007.
