I wrote a little Commodore 64 demo for Assembly '02 old-school competition - Superstar - with this track playing on the background. I remember the demo and the track missing the deadlines so neither one reached the big screen - or then they just sucked so bad... Hmm. Whaddya think? Both were left quite unfinished as well... Unfortunately, I could find only bits and pieces of the actual demo code, not the full assembly.
Back in the late summer of 2004, we (Motion Avenue) were launching a new interactive TV show on MTV3 and SubTV called Parantola (a.k.a. Paris Lemons) which was about animated celebrity caricatures chatting with each other by the means of SMS and Text-to-Speech synthesizing. What a great fun it was! Well, I had some spare time (@ 4am?) so I wrote this funky-ass theme for the show!
Before we had virtual instruments we had trackers! Oh yes. Back to the good old tracker days. Here's a track I wrote waaay back in the spring of 1997 with the Triton's beloved Fast Tracker II. I was just about to turn sixteen and finishing 9th grade :) In my opinion, one of the best purely tracker-based tracks I had written. Original and stylish trance tune. I remember the ending riff just popping out by some keyboard typo - but it sounded great! Enjoy!
Oh yes. A sort of deep-house track I wrote in the winter of 2002 including Finnish lyrics discovering the human anatomy... Sizzling... :) And yes, it is the exact same maj7 chord clocking over 7 minutes - how can it work?! :D
