History: Random Mullet formed in Fall 2004, when founding members Henri Heikka and Raine Oikarinen got the idea of doing more unique and diffent music compared to their already existing bands. They began composing material that included elements from many music styles, from extreme metal to jazz. In late 2004, guitarist Tupo Laurila, vocalists Simo Järvinen and Ilmo Ylinärä, and drummer Janne Riikola agreed to work with Heikka and Oikarinen, filling out the group's lineup. In the first half of 2005, they started writing and rehearsing new, original songs. The band went into the studio in June, 2005, and their demo, Lifeless, was released that September. After releasing Lifeless and getting pretty good feedback from it, Random Mullet decided to make their final demo record with full concentration and without compromises. They composed material for 10 months and went to studio in the late 2006. Recording process took its place in K-Sound-studio near to Oulu and it was quite long and painful.
