Deep down in the valley of the lizards
I have been a reptile
no human culture
no shallow friends
just hungry crocodile.

Deep in the graveyard
under my tomb stone
there lies a past
unknown, alone
ready for an evolution
of its own.

Deep down in deserted mines
I've been digging for gold
no success story
in dirt and dust
for children to be told.

Deep down in the back of my mind
I've been looking for myself
I've found a monster
god in the cell
gene smiling like an elf.
