First things I remember from childhood years
Old wooden building, plays without any fears
Those long gone memories I cherish will
Though times may change I'll keep them still
You were my dear and secret love
Those childish dreams I then kept above
We moved our home and I started school
All dreams were left in our old neighborhood
It seems like not so long ago
We made castles out of snow
But years roll on and
Generation after generation flow
If I could live one day over again
I'd pick the day on that yard back when
I grabbed your hand then kissed your lips
And deep in your eyes saw blue childhood skies
