Prison Cell

Prison Cell
The prison I have resided in for decades
Light tries to penetrate but it only fades
The bars are too high to see the other side
Seeing illusions that are filled with lies
There are no visitors to be seen in here
Just me, myself, and I for all these years
Maybe I could have done things differently
But it’s only a part of my family tree
Me, myself, and I (4x)
Claustrophobia shows its head again
Them four walls of concrete are closing in
Anxiety and stress just end in a panic attack
There won’t be help with getting you back
There are no guards to be seen in here
Just me, myself, and I for all these years
Maybe I could have done things differently
But it’s only a part of my family tree
Me, myself, and I (4x)
All alone except the voices in my head
More than often wishing I were dead
Only to find connections for contraband
Just another day in this enclosed can
There are no people to be seen in here
Just me, myself, and I for all these years
Maybe I could have done things differently
But it’s only a part of my family tree
Me, myself, and I (4x)
