History:
Ancylus took its first steps in summer 2009, and was formed by Pauli Pekuri (Guitar/Vocals), Tuomas Haukka (Bass), and Janne Valkama (Drums). The idea didn't take wind under its wings at first, and the first rehersals were kept as late as in spring 2010. The second guitarist Heikki Ylikulju joined Ancylus in summer 2010. At the very beginning of the year 2011 Ancylus recorded its first demo "Kingdom of Coldness" in SoundKitchen Studio in Raahe.
