History: Rising from the axis of Tampere-Vaasa-Hämeenkyrö, Absurdist is a relatively new band formed in early 2006. Having practiced and written songs for most of the year, the band is now starting to record their debut EP that is supposed to see the light of the day in the fall of 2006. Absurdist is influenced by all kinds of music and tries to keep the music fresh and evolving, not bowing to genres or customs. The music could be described as twitching hardcore mixed with ever-bouncing rhythms and slower, apocalyptic mosh parts.
